PADI Discover Scuba Local Diving

You may remember your PADI Instructor saying, “If you travel to a new location or visit an unfamiliar dive environment, get a local orientation.” It’s good advice and easy to do. Scuba diving with an experienced local dive professional lets you relax and better enjoy the adventure.

Schedule: 

• 3 hour program offered - Dives are approximately 30-40 minutes under the direct supervision of a PADI professional.

Prerequisites: 

• Must be registered for Camp Summer Program 

• Must be 12 years and older to participate

• Must have a valid Scuba Certification Card to participate 

• Participants are required to pass a swim test 

• Must have a Medical Form signed by physician 

• Must have PADI Certified Diver Experience Form signed 

Registration:

It is recommended that participants sign up 7 days prior to arrival at camp to ensure availability.  However, scouts and adult leaders can sign up and pay while at camp if space is available. Payment in full is due prior to the dive or activity. If the scout’s parent or guardian is not present at camp, then the forms will have to be completed and emailed before the scout can participate.

Cancellation Policy:

• Up to 30 days prior to the scheduled activity date, payments for unused materials are refundable.

• Less than 30 days prior to the scheduled activity date a rescheduling fee of 25% applies.

• Once used or activated, course materials are non-refundable. 

• PADI eLearning courses are good for 1 year from activation.

• Missed courses and diving activities are non-refundable. 

• Late arrivals for courses are subject to a $25.00 per hour make up fee.
