There is something exciting and mysterious about exploring deeper dive sites while scuba diving.
Sometimes is's a wreck or a reef that attracts you. Whatever it is, the PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course is for you.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
- Specialized deep diving equipment requirements
- Dive planning, buddy procedures and buoyancy control
- Managing your gas supply and dealing with gas narcosis and safety
This course consists of four dives and a small amount of reading in advance. If you completed your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course, then only 3 dives are required to complete the specialty.
You must be at least 15 years old
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Required dive gear (owned or rented)
- 2 Lights
- Compass
- Slate
- Knife
- SMB
- Whistle
- Watch or Dive Computer
In addition, all certified divers participating in training are required to have Divers Alert Network (DAN) Diving insurance. Please provide proof of insurance prior to your class.
